Join the Steger Fire Department for the 2nd Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa! Come ready for photos, pancakes, and more!

At this year’s 2^nd Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa, one additional event will be added to the agenda: the 1936 Diamond T Fire Engine that will become the cornerstone of the Steger Fire Department Museum will be dedicated to former Fire Chief Elmer Joyce.

“It is an exciting event,” says Mayor Kenneth A. Peterson Jr. “Elmer was Chief for so many years and he did a great job of leading the department. It’s only fitting that honor his memory in the museum.”

The event takes place Sunday, November 29^th at Fire Station 1 from 7 am to 1 pm. Everyone is invited to take photos with Santa, enjoy a few pancakes, and decorate cookies. There will also be a bake sale and ham raffle, as well as a food drive to benefit families in need during the Holiday season.
