  • Fitness at the Community Center
    • There is ample opportunity to keep up with fitness goals at the Community
    • Walk the gym (18 laps = 1 mile):
      • Monday – Friday (8 A.M. – 12 P.M.)
      • Workout room
        • Monday – Friday (8 A.M. – 3:45 P.M.)
        • Workout Room has treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bikes, weight machine, Ab cruncher, and Airdyne bikes
        • Closes 15 minutes before closing time.
    • Open Gym
      • If open, Monday – Friday from 12 – 3:30 pm
    • Fitness Classes

  • Steger Recreation Sports:
    • We offer these select sports programs throughout the year;
  • Community Clubs
    • Over 50 Club – Meets 1st and 3rd Thursday 3:30 – 5:30 p.m., Starts March 7th
    • TOPS – Meets every Wednesday 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
    • Pinochle Club – Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Sewing Club –  Meets 2nd Thursday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    • Check in out. Makes a GREAT GIFT!
    • Full of old pictures and explanations and stories of 100 years of Steger history!
    • Cost: Local $30.00 (additional $5.00 if shipping required)
    • Can be picked up at the Louis Sherman Community Center.
